Cougarette Proque Send Off

Just before the Cougs went to Praque they had a lovely evening where they presented their show to the parents and friends.  It was a great evening.  Frank, Kathy, Krissa, Owen and I went to support!  It was the last time I would see the Sarah perform with the Cougs.  I will miss it so much but I know she has other things the Lord wants her to do.

 Owen and Frank
Cougarettes sang I am a Child of God at the end of the program

 Grandma and O-Dog
 Kathy Allen
 My two beautiful girls
I love this girl so much.  It was so sad to watch her for the last time.
Owen grabbed Sarah after the show and hung on tight.  She got one of those "Owen Hugs" that I love so much.

And Sarah plays Softball

I don't think I need to say much about this.  Dad has a good time watching her.  She had an amazing bruise on her leg this summer that she still has tale tale signs of on her leg.  It was huge. Way to take one for the team Sarah!!!

A Grand 80th Birthday Party

Aunt Jeanine at her 80th Birthday party.  She passed away this winter.  I was so happy I went to her party and was able to tell her how much I loved her and how much she meant to me over the years.  She was the sweetest lady and the epitome of service and compassion.  She is resting peacefully how with many family members.  I love you Aunt Jeanine.
My Cousin Colleen lives in Fielding Utah where my Grandma and Grandpa Moss lived.  I grew up visiting and playing with her often.  Her mother, my Aunt Jeanine, was a big part of my life.  She was my Grandma's sister and we were a very close family.  We celebrated her 80th birthday party with a big celebration.  I was able to see a lot of my relatives that I hadn't seen for a while.  Shortly after her birthday she went down hill physically and wasn't long for this earth.  Here are a few of my memories from that day.

Taylor was able to ride along with me and he and Spence has a blast.

A Visit from Tripp and Stephen

The Springtime brought a visit from Stephen and Tripp.  Stephen was flying in for work and we convinced him to bring Tripp along to visit.  While Grandpa and the boys golfed, Krissa and Dave and the Allen's went to Springville's yearly celebration.

We were freezing cold!!!!

These two are the best of friends.  It is a good thing they have each other.  Family parties just wouldn't be the same without our older two grandchildren.

Let's Play Catch-up

Wow, the last post I made was in July, 2012.  I won't attempt to go back so many months, however I will recap the events as best as I recall.

Easter 2012
We were missing our Stephen and Alesha this year, but this year will be different.  It happens next week and it will be a party!

Look Into My Eyes

This is a picture of my grandson Owen and I and then a picture of Steve and I in St. George at the Temple.  Since I was young my eyelids have felt heavy and droopy to me.  When I would take a picture I would hold my eyes open wide to keep the eyelids from sagging down into my eyes.  When I would wake up in the morning, if my eyes were swollen from pollen or poor sleep, or if I had a headache, they would be so bad it affected my eyesight.  I know that I wasn't "ugly" but when you feel like your eyes are part of your soul it makes you feel that way.  My dear husband always knew of my feelings and was always telling me to "get my eyes done".  It is very expensive and every time I was ready to do it because I was so fed up, something would happen to detour me.  In February my dream came true and Dr. Kimball Crofts "fixed them up" for me.  He was an old missionary companion of Steve's in Rome Italy so Steve made the appointment.  This was in December 2012.  Then Steve's job changed and things started happening that made me feel uneasy with the whole procedure.  Finally in February, I really did it.  After years of complaining and wishing, the deed is finally done.  Here are some pictures of the healing timeline.  Mind you, I didn't put a picture of the first four days.  They were too awful to share.

Look at the difference a surgery makes!

I am so happy I did this.  It might be vain, but I am telling you now, I don't care.  I love the results.  Thanks to my wonderful husband for working so hard so that I can feel good about myself. XXOO
