Sharing a dessert. Food was quite expensive and it was hard finding stuff everyone liked. But I think we found a great little Mexican restaurant right by the hotel that we could sit outside at and it was great food. This particular day was at Chili's.

Swimming in the pool is a highlight for the kids. We make sure the hotel has a swimming pool before we ever select one.

Tripp turned 6 while we were in California on July 2nd, 2011. We celebrated with an icecream cake and opening presents. The funny thing is that we were always celebrating his Dad's birthday during our vacations when my children were little. Now Tripp is taking that place.
